We had a wonderful time at Hillside Festival! It was a very unique festival! I hope we can attend as vendors for many years to come! Here is a picture of Kaleb and I, and a picture of our booth! Everyone attending the festival were so nice and friendly! It was a nice change from some of the craft shows we attend!

Hillside Festival!
We are so excited to be a part of Hillside Festival this year selling our accessories!! My husband Kaleb is bringing his exoticwood electrical guitars to show as well! July 25 -27
It is going to be a fun weekend!!

"Hillside began in 1984 as local gathering of musical friends in Guelph, Ontario. Today, it is one of Canada's best-loved music festivals with over 50 musical performances on five stages over three days during the last weekend in July.
Held at Guelph Lake conservation area on an "island" connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway, the festival is anchored by the Hillside Community permanent main stage, a dramatic outdoor performance space with a living roof and gracefully arched acoustical wooden ceiling.
Hillside is renowned for its artistic lineup, a flavourful blend of up-and-coming Canadian performers, world artists, and local talent. The program is always richly diverse and highly entertaining."

Some of our wooden treasures!
Some of our latest exotic wood pieces!
All wood is hand-selected by us, and starts as raw lumber! I LOVE going wood shopping!
Above you will see ziricote, zebrawood, wenge and maple
Today
Here are some pictures of my funky bags! As you can see I love to use bright colours!
I currently make tote size bags, beach bags and diaper bags! Jewellery is my main focus, so I usually make a couple new bags a week!

So just a little background on in-bloom:
My name is Jillian Driedger and my husband (Kaleb) and I are the creators of In-bloom! Everything is handmade by us in our home/shop. I am a graduate of Fashion Design, who LOVES to create Jewellery! My favorite is making necklaces!! My husband Kaleb is a wood worker and guitar builder so the exotic wood part of our jewellery started with using the left over pieces of wood from the guitars. ( http://www.kdgstringworks.ca/ )It started as a couple of bangles and earrings he made for me, and we loved doing it so much the exotic wood has become a fun part of our line! We now go to the wood stores not only for material for his guitars, but for me to pick out wood specifically with jewellery in mind! So much fun! Kaleb does the wood working part and I help him come up with the ideas, and do the finishing. I us mostly semi-precious gemstones in my jewellery along with the exotic wood. I also sew bags! You will find plenty of color and interesting details. Most bags are reversible, which is something I love! I am new to this whole blog thing, but excited by it!
