I absolutely ADORE making treasuries on Etsy! Today I went for a much needed massage and out for lunch with a friend, when I got home, I hopped on the computer and saw that my treasury was on the front page! Yay! It was called Honey, Honey up in the trees...Lyrics from a Fiest song! I LOVE Fiest! A very warm and fun treasury!

Recycled Accessories
Every little bit helps! Saving pieces from going to Landfill!
We have started making jewellery from recycled building materials that were headed towards the trash. Kaleb my husband (works in building construction) has been saving pieces here and there, and my sister's boyfriend Gerry has given us some cool pieces too! Some of the new pieces made from salvaged scraps:
The above pair was made using Moroccan wood that was part of a Clementine Box.

Check out the new wood!
New Wood: Bocote! This wood has amazing figure! Bocote (Cordia elaeagnoides) is sometimes called Mexican Rosewood. It is creamy yellow to golden orange with dark black to brown zebra like streaks. It is found in Central and South America and has a similar in grain pattern to Zebrawood.
